Welcome to the Heart Tribe Local Food Co-op!
We are partnering with local, North Texas area farmers who are committed to practicing sustainable, organic agriculture. This partnership allows us to make fresh, organic, nutrient-rich produce easily accessible and affordable year-round to as much of our community as possible. In season, we have local honey produced using organic methods, and eggs from pastured, heritage-breed chickens available. Additionally, we serve as a hub for other local artisans and their sustainably-produced crafts.
To bring a greater variety of vibrant food to the Dallas/Fort Worth community while supporting farmers making organic and sustainable choices the world over, we also source fresh produce, nuts, dried fruits, and other products and superfoods from small, independent farmers or farm organizations committed to fair trade practices. Some products, such as avocados, may come from California, while products like cacao beans and brazil nuts may come from South America (coming soon...). Or manuka honey and jarrah bee pollen from New Zealand (coming soon...).
Our mission is easily and affordably making available to you the highest quality food possible. We believe that growing our own food in rhythm and harmony with Nature is optimal, and our intention is for our Heart Tribe Co-op to be the next best thing to home-grown.
How to Get Started:
A full share of yummy organic produce is $35 for a half share, or $50 for a full share. At the time you sign up, there is a $50 per year membership fee, plus a one time charge of $14 for the cost of the bins you will receive your produce in.
So if you are signing up for the first time (welcome!) the total would be $99 for a half share, or $114 for a full share.
